Apparently one gets talking medical equipment these days. Talking BP monitors and talking sats monitors and so on. I’ve never seen one of these, of course, but apparently when a new rural hospital was built recently, the local government decided to splurge a little.
So it happened that a nurse accompanied a woman in labour recently, and started recording her vital signs. The next moment she heard a voice and went screaming from the hospital, convinced that there was a ghost in the delivery room. The poor patient was left alone.
All the nurse’s colleagues were called to investigate, who eventually decided to contact the priest(s) to purify the place. They also remembered to contact a technician. I can only imagine what he must have thought being called out due to a “ghost” in his equipment.
NOTE: I was not a witness to this event, but it was relayed with great pleasure.
