Our ophthalmology rotation ends today, and we have a theoretical exam as well as a viva voce exam. A week of migraines necessitated an all-nighter, and naturally, this was what my brain fixated on:
Books taught me about dystopias first: “An imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or environmentally degraded one.”
But ophthalmology taught me a different definition: “any type of abnormal displacement of the entire orbital cones and their contents…”
It is called a homonym, I know. But this was second-most entertaining part of studying all-night (the first would be that The Boy brought me McDonald’s and a McFlurrie to help with the studying. Ncaaaaw).
