With TTT and The Broke and the Bookish this week we do a roundup of our favourite reads of the year. Obviously this is really hard, but I’ll try.
I’m jumping the gun a bit with this week’s Top Ten Tuesday, because you know, I want to give people enough time to find books for my Christmas stocking 😛 I have a gajillion books on my wishlist, but these are ten books I really wouldn’t mind.
“You have to understand that I get bored easily. In fact, I only study from a specific textbook once and then I have to find other study material because I’m bored with it.”
I realise that is the most awkward sentence but… YOLO. Today with Top Ten Tuesday we discuss places books have made us want to visit, whether fictional or real. I LOVE this topic! I definitely have the travel bug and I once did a list of books that feature travel in some way. I can’tContinue reading “Ten Places Books Make Me Wanderlust For”
Today with Top Ten Tuesdays we discuss books that were hard to read, for whatever the reason. I also just want to add that I suggested this topic so yay! But admittedly, BookRiot did it first. Heh. Anyway. I’m focusing on books that were hard to read due to subject matter, not due to styleContinue reading “Ten Books That Were Hard To Read”

That got me thinking about silly things I have done without thinking when I was exhausted. These all happened either at the end of a long call, or whenContinue reading “Things I Have Done When Over-Tired”
I’m twisting today’s TTT topic in honour of Harry Potter Month! How’s that for killing two birds with one stone. These are the ten characters from the Harry Potter World that I would want with me on a deserted island. We assume that they don’t have broomsticks with them and that they can’t apparate fromContinue reading “Ten Harry Potter Characters I Would Want With Me On A Deserted Island”
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday with The Broke and The Bookish is all about those things we entertain ourselves with that AREN’T books – namely, series and movies. I have to admit, I have never been a big fan of television and movies. Movies were only really a social activity for me (a.k.a. dates and girls’Continue reading “Top Ten Non-Books”
July is Harry Potter Month with Faith at Student Spyglass (because duh, Harry’s birthday is in July!) Although a lot of people are doing this, I wanted to share what Harry Potter meant (and still MEANS) to me.
